Curriculum Kindermusik Calendar Registration & Fees

Kindermusik for the Young Child®
Ages: 5 to 7 years old

 

  

Kindermusik for the Young Child is a program for children 4 1/2 to 7 years old. In Kindermusik for the Young Child, children explore fundamental musical concepts. This program prepares the child in a fun yet structured environment for a successful future of formal musical training. Children sing, dance, learn to read and write music, learn about instruments and great classical works. Each semester, students receive a CD, songbook, an instrument (glockenspiel, recorder, or dulcimer), in-class activity worksheets, Music at home cards to reinforce classroom learning at home, and a folder and bag to keep it all in. Parents or caregivers are invited into class for the last five minutes to share what the class has learned. This is a four-semester program; each semester is fifteen weeks.

While we plant the seeds of learning through music in the classroom, you will use the At Home materials at home to cultivate lifelong learning.
